Manual | Massive Boot SpaceTHE DETAILS
The Forester was launched in 1997. It was based on the underpinnings of the Impreza. It is a four-door wagon with a powerful engine. It'd be perfect for skii season or even as your work runabout. It's comfortable and comes with the added bonus of being a Manual!
ON THE ROAD
The Subaru engine pulls smoothly and with purpose from low down in the rev range with heaps of mid-range grunt to make it a pleasant driver in most circumstances.
The Forester is a constant four-wheel drive system with drive going to all wheels all the time. At the heart of the system is a centre transfer case with viscous limited-slip differential. When it detects a difference in the rotation speed of the front and rear axles it automatically adjusts the torque split for optimum drive.
It works well on road or off, delivering a level of safety a two-wheel drive car cant match along with a surprising ability off road.
The rear seats can fold forward to make a large space inside of the cabin to either put bikes, scooters, shopping, prams or extra luggage!
This is a fresh import from Japan so you would be the first NZ Owner with 6 months registration.
