New Shape | Drives Well | Great Value! *SALE - Now $7500! - was $7995!*
The MPV is great value for money. It has a bigger interior than its rivals - the likes of the Toyota ISIS or Mazda's own Premacy.
The MPV provides seating for up to seven occupants, with captain's chairs in the front and middle rows. The "Tumble Under" third-row seat folds completely into the floor.
It also has neat features such as electric sliding doors, electric windows throughout (yes, even in the sliding doors), automatic wiper blades, dual climate control and over the shoulder safety belts throughout.
It's not a particularly long vehicle like some MPV's but it does have better height.
Antilock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution are standard. Side-impact airbags and traction control are standard in the ES. The front seat belts include pretensioners.
ON THE ROAD
Like many new MPV's it drives like a much smaller car. It handles well, has good road visibility and has relatively good acceleration for a car of its size. It's also very comfortable.
The MPV's five-speed-automatic transmission incorporates Slope Control, which stays in fourth gear to avoid unnecessary shifts while climbing.
Ride comfort is especially good and exceptionally well controlled.
